Freedom of Information Requests
Information requests are received under the Municipal Freedom of Information and Privacy Act and are dealt with pursuant to legislation. Freedom of Information forms can be obtained on line or in person. Here is further information regarding the Act.
How to Make a Freedom of Information Request
Requests can be made at the front desk of Saugeen Shores Police Service at 1240 MacKenzie Road, Port Elgin. Applicants will be asked to fill out a Municipal Freedom of Information and Privacy Act Form and pay a legislated $5.00 application fee. (additional fees may apply if applicable)
Requests can be made in writing by completing the Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection Act form and mailing it to:

Along with the access form, please include a cheque of money order payable to the Saugeen Shores Police Service for $5.00 for application fee. You must also include a photocopy of one-piece government issued photo identification with your request.
