Fail to Remain Collision Results in Charges
On May 5th 2023 Saugeen Shores Police Service entered into an investigation in relation to a collision that occurred on Goderich Street in the town of Port Elgin. The driver of one of the vehicles failed to remain on scene.
On June 23rd 2023, after an extensive investigation, members of the Saugeen Shores Criminal Investigation Branch (with assistance from road officers) identified and arrested a 34-year-old male of Saugeen Shores.
He was charged with Dangerous Operation of a Motor vehicle and Failure to Stop after accident. He was released with a future court date.
