Dangerous Driving and Impaired Operation
On January 13th 2022 at around 6:30pm Saugeen Shores Police were dispatched to a report that a man had been struck by a motor vehicle in a parking lot in the town of Port Elgin.
Police attended and learnt that two men had been involved in a dispute over property maintenance when one of the men struck the other with a pickup truck.
While speaking with one of the men police detected an odor of alcohol.
As a result of the investigation a 57 year old man of Saugeen Shores has been charged with Operation while Impaired (80+) and Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle.
No serious injuries were reported.
