Incident #1
On April 16th an officer an general patrol located a stolen vehicle from Southgate in front of a residence in Port Elgin.
The officer commenced an investigation and determined the occupant of the residence was in possession of the stolen vehicle.
A 30 year old Port Elgin women has been charged with:
Possession of Property Obtained by Crime
She was released with a court date.
Incident #2
On April 14th an officer on general patrol observed a male operating a motor vehicle on Goderich Street. The officer was aware that this male was currently on a recognizance of bail with conditions to not occupy the driver seat of a motor vehicle.
A vehicle stop was conducted in parking lot and the male was arrested for breaching his conditions of release.
A search of the male incident to arrest revealed 6.1 grams of crystal methamphetamine.
A 63 year old Southampton man has been charged with:
- Breach Recognizance - Not occupy driver seat of Motor Vehicle
- Possession Schedule I - Methamphetamine
- Breach Recognizance - Not possess drugs without valid prescription.
He was released with a court date.
