Media Release – Suspicious Automobile and Person
On Saturday, November 2nd at approximately 3pm two young girls were walking along streets in Port Elgin. They reported they were approached by a male who asked them to get into his vehicle. Both girls denied this request, however the vehicle continued to drive by them. The girls sought refuge in a local business.
After several minutes the girls decided to the leave the business only to see the truck and driver again. They eventually made their way home and told their parents
Truck description: Possibly a newer white Ford F150 with an extended cab, rear tinted windows, loud exhaust and no front plate.
Person description: Male white, 20-40 years old
The Saugeen Shores Police are asking if anyone observes any suspicious activity please call 519-832-2500 or call 911 if it is an emergency. You may also report any information anonymously to CrimeStoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
