New Station Grand Opening
Media Release - Police Station Grand Opening
The Saugeen Shores Police Service is pleased to announce the upcoming Grand Opening of our new station located at 1240 MacKenzie Road.
The public is invited to attend at ribbon cutting ceremony on Wednesday, September 25th at 2pm. The police auxiliary officer unit will be conducting station tours until 6pm. Refreshments will be served.
Station Highlights:
- Community service room
- Offices for Victim Services and Probation and Parole
- Control access parking for police vehicles
- Safe Goods exchange area available 24hrs a day
- Front entrance after hours panic room with direct line to dispatch
- Multi-purpose room suitable to host off-site Ontario Police College training
- Four interview rooms
- Workout facilities
- Upgraded IT and phone systems
- Court Yard area
- Design allows for expansion of the service
- Wheel chair accessible throughout
