Media Release - Break and Enter Investigation
On September 11th the Saugeen Shores Police received a report of a break and enter that occurred at Southampton residence during the overnight hours.
The occupants of the home reported that someone entered their home and stole four cellular phones, three laptops, jewellery and other items with a total value in excess of $5000.
An investigation into the offence led police to a residence and identified a suspect. A search warrant was conducted and officers located most of the stolen property. The suspect was not located at this time.
On September 12th officers were investigating another incident when they observed the suspect walking in the area. The suspect was arrested and was found to be in possession of more the stolen property obtained at the break and enter.
A 38 year old Bruce County women has been charged with:
- Break and enter
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime
She was released with a court date.
