Christmas Day Impaired Driver Arrested

Saugeen Shores Police were dispatched to a report of a vehicle that had become stuck in the snow at the end of a driveway on Con 8 west.
Police attended and located an intoxicated male sitting on the side of the roadway. The male was placed under investigative detention at that time.
As a result of the continued investigation a 37-year-old of Saugeen Shores was charged with the following offences:
- Dangerous Operation
- Take Motor Vehicle Without Consent
- Operation while Impaired (80 plus)
- Operation while Prohibited
- Failure to Comply with Probation Order
He was released on an undertaking with a future court date. His licence was further suspended and the vehicle was returned to its owner.
