The Saugeen Shores Police Service would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who joined us for the “Dinner by Donation” community fundraiser that was held in Southampton on the evening of December 6th, 2025. It was an incredible evening that brought our community together in support of a truly meaningful cause.

A sincere thank you to Tim Panchyshyn and his talented team for donating, preparing, and serving an outstanding meal. It was absolutely delicious, and we are fortunate to have such an accomplished chef who not only crafted the menu but also played a key role in planning this community event.

We would also like to thank Mini for her support in planning and promoting the evening, and Kevin and the team at the Southampton Golf and Country Club for providing a warm, welcoming venue and for their generous support.
This event was a success because of the generosity and spirit of our community. Thanks to your donations—both financial contributions and gift cards—we raised $5,445 in support. To make the evening even more impactful, Kevin from the Southampton Golf and Country Club contributed an additional $2,500, brining the total proceeds to $7,945!

The Saugeen Shores Police Service will retain the donated gift cards to support our Saugeen Shores Police Service Contingency Fund, which allows officers to provide immediate assistance to individuals in need—whether it’s access to a warm meal, clothing, or essential items—while longer-term supports are arranged through social service partners. A number of gift cards will be distributed to the Saugeen Shores and Saugeen First Nation food banks, as well as the Salvation Army, to help purchase much-needed supplies.

Together, we have strengthened our shared commitment to a healthier, more supportive community. Thank you to everyone for your generosity, your time, and your dedication. Your contributions will make a real difference this holiday season and in the year ahead.
