20 Jan 2010, Saugeen Shores Police and the Ontario Provincial Police conducted a joint RIDE program on County roads #13, and #3 and Highway 21. Approximately 300 vehicles were stopped, two Highway traffic warnings were given and one Liquor Licence Act warning was issued.

23 Jan 10, at 11:41 pm police observed two males drinking on the north side of the Dr Earl Medical Center. A 22 year old Saugeen Twp male was arrested for public intoxication and subsequently charged with possession of brass knuckles, carrying a concealed and possessing a prohibited weapon. He will appear in Walkerton Court 08 March 2010.

24 Jan 10, at 2:20 am police observed a 37 year old Trenton male urinating on the side of Ziegler Lumber. At 2:40 he was observed returning to the same location and began to urinate again. He was very intoxicated and arrested for public intoxication. He was driven to where he was staying and turned over to a friend with a ticket for public intoxication.

24 Jan 10, at 9:16 am police observed a vehicle travelling on an un-serviced section of road near Anglesia and Cemetery Rd in Southampton. The driver was checked and found to be in possession of a G1 Drivers Licence that had been suspended under a valid Family Support suspension. The 30 year old New Hamburg male was arrested for driving under suspension and released with a court date in Walkerton.
