Hate Motivated Mischief – Concluded

On January 28^th, 2022 the Saugeen Shores Police Service investigated two mischiefs to property incidents at the Lamont Sports Park and the snowmobile trail route. 

At the sports park several hate motivated racial and homophobic slurs were spray painted on a utility building. On the snowmobile trail signs were spray painted and removed.

The Saugeen Shores Police Criminal Investigation Unit commenced an investigation that led to the identity of three youths that were responsible. All youths are being held accountable through a formal extra-judicial measures program.
