Bruce County Man Arrested Again

On October 20th, 2021 a 27 year old Bruce County man was arrested and charged with several weapons related offences and breaching court orders. One of those charges was for being in the unlawful possession of 31 rounds of .308 calibre ammunition.  The male was released following a bail hearing.

A further investigation into this incident revealed that the .308 ammunition was stolen.  On October 25th Saugeen Shores Police officers arrested the male for being in possession of stolen property. A search of the male revealed a quantity of suspected methamphetamine and foldable knife, which he is on a release order prohibiting him from possessing.

The male was held for a bail hearing and remanded into custody.

Charges:

  1. Possession of Property Obtained by Crime under $5000 CC354(1)(a),
  2. Possession of a Schedule 1 Substance - Methamphetamine CDSA4(1)
  3. Failure to Comply with Release Order CC145(5)(a),
  4. Fail to Comply with Probation Order CC733.1(1),
