Drug Search Warrant - Three People Arrested

Controlled Drugs and Substances Act Search Warrant

On February 28^th, 2019 the Criminal Investigations & Drug unit and uniformed members executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrant at an address in Port Elgin.

Three persons were located inside the residence and arrested.

A 55 year old Port Elgin man has been charged with:

1. Possession for the purpose of trafficking schedule 1 drug – methamphetamine
2. Possession for the purpose of trafficking schedule 1 drug – codeine
3. Possession of a controlled substance, schedule 1 drug – methamphetamine

A 19 year old Port Elgin man has been charged with:

1. Possession of a controlled substance, schedule 1 drug – methamphetamine

A 36 year old women with no fixed address has been charged with:

1. Possession of a controlled substance, schedule 1 drug – methamphetamine

These arrests are the result of an ongoing criminal and drug investigation in Saugeen Shores.

The 55 year old man was held for a bail hearing and the other male and female were released with a court date.
