Vehicle Entries in Port Elgin - 2 males arrested

On January 22nd 2019 in the early morning hours, Saugeen Shores Police received a report of two suspicious males wearing black and entering a vehicle at a residence in Port Elgin.  Police attended the area and located a male matching the description.  He was arrested at the scene.  Continued search of the area located the second male hiding behind an air conditioner at a residence.  The second male was also arrested.  

Continued investigation revealed that several vehicles in the area had been entered by the arrested males.

A 46 year old male from Georgian Bluffs was held for a bail hearing charged with:

-Trespass by Night  CC
-Fail to comply with undertaking given to officer in charge  CC 145(5.1)
-Fail to comply with probation order CC 733.1(1)
-Possession of Schedule I Substance CDSA 4(1)

A 28 year old male of no fixed address was charged with:

-Trespass by Night
-Breach Probation

Investigation into the identity of the stolen items is continuing and further charges are expected.
