On September 30th, 2018 at 5:30pm an officer conducting mobile speed enforcement observed a vehicle travelling at a high rate of speed on Highway 21 near the Bruce-Saugeen Townline. The officer conducted a traffic stop and observed the driver to be under the influence of an alcoholic beverage. The driver was arrested and transported to the station for a breath test.
A 24 year old man from the Municipality of Kincardine has been charged with Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle and Operating a Motor Vehicle with over 80mgs of Alcohol in his blood.
The driver had his licence suspended for 90 days, and his vehicle impounded for 7 days.
