Impaired / Over 80 arrest

On Saturday, September 15th, 2018 at 4:40am an officer on patrol on Goderich Street observed a vehicle swerving from side to side.  A vehicle stop was conducted on Highway 21 where the officer spoke to the driver and made observations of impairment.

The driver was arrested for impaired operation of a motor vehicle and transported to the station.  At the station the driver failed breath tests.

A 37 year old Neyaashiinigmiing man has been charged with:

•             Driving While Ability Impaired
•             Driving with more than 80mgs of alcohol in blood
