Over this past week officers from the Saugeen Shores Police Service have been assisting the combined police services of the RCMP, Ontario Provincial Police, Hanover Police, Wingham Police, West Grey Police, Waterloo Regional Police, Stratford Police, Guelph Police, Oxford Community Police and Owen Sound Police to eradicate marihuana grows in our collective areas.

In all 22,000 plants were seized and destroyed, with an estimated street value of $22,000,000.00

It is through these collaborative efforts we can remove a large quantity of drugs from streets prior to them being sold to our children.
