People in Saugeen Shores drive in a lot of weather extremes and are very good cautious drivers. This is the fist taste of winter and we have had a high rate of accidents so far. If the weather and roads are poor and you donít have to drive then donít.

If a road is closed donít drive onto the road. There is a $110. fine and the road is closed for a reason. You also may not be covered by insurance driving on a road police have closed and say is unsafe. If you get into an accident you are then going to put emergency services at risk to come and assist you. Police, fire and ambulance could all put their safety in jeopardy to help you. Please use caution in these winter conditions and really think about your choice to drive in inclement weather, it is that important.
