25 October 2010

18 Oct 2010, 1:51 pm it was reported to police that some tools were stolen from a construction site on Wellington St. A black nylon bag containing a Dewalt drill flashlight saws all and 3 batteries were stolen. If anyone has any information on this theft please call police or Crimestoppers.

19 Oct 2010, sometime overnight an unlocked vehicle was entered on Peel St in Southampton. A bag of hockey equipment and a Crosby 1 piece hockey stick were stolen.

19 Oct 2010, sometime overnight two unlocked vehicles were entered on Morpeth St Southampton. A Blackberry earpiece and a Sirius satellite receive and antenna was stolen.

23 Oct 2010, at 1:09 am a 24 year old Saugeen Reserve male was arrested for impaired driving. The male was also charged with taking vehicle without owners consent. Another 18 year old male passenger was arrested for breaching probation and taking vehicle without owners consent.

24 Oct 2010, sometime overnight a vehicle was entered on Sandy Acres Rd in Port Elgin and some music CDs were stolen.

Police remind people to Lock it or Lose it.  Please lock your vehicles when unattended please lock up your bicycles and please lock your homes at night or when you are away. It is an easy thing to do and could help you help yourself not be a victim of crime.
