July 2010 By-law calls for service

Police and Bylaw officer Powell responded to 93 calls for service in July 2010.

Calls ranged from incidents such as dogs on beach, parking, dogs at large, abandoned dog, abandoned cat, cattle on road, barking dogs, camp fires, noisy parties, dumping of garbage, fireworks, burning garbage, air conditioner noise, music from bar, noise from transport truck, vehicle storage, tree cutting, taking rocks from the beach, .

Bylaw officer Powell responded to infractions under all bylaws as listed in her following report.

The number of occurrences Bylaw dealt with in the month of July are as follows:

Animal Control: 19 occurrences (9 cautions, 4 information only, 4 Community Service and 2 charges)

Fireworks: 2 occurrences

Parking: 16 occurrences and 22 parking tickets issued)

Noise: 6 occurrences (4 cautions and 2 inquiries)

Traffic: 1 occurrence

Zoning: 4 occurrences

Property Standards: 17 Occurrences and 13 follow ups

Total of 65 occurrences and 13 follow ups
