Police would like to remind people that although you should be able to leave your vehicle, shed or house unlocked unfortunately you canít. Sometimes if a criminal wants to gain entry he will break or kick in your door to get in. Most times vehicles, sheds and houses are unlocked. One or two people going through a neighbourhood overnight can try many places. If you lock up, they will most likely move to the next place.

Police request that if you hear something in the night, see a group of people acting suspiciously or drinking please call police. That simple call can possibly prevent a criminal act.
